Press and editorial video interview in Paris
Paris-based video director, I work for the press, media and editorial teams requiring on-location video interviews outside of their studios: film festivals, trade fairs, ceremonies, press conferences, cultural or institutional events. My role is to produce a clean filmed interview — polished framing, flawless sound, stable image — in often constrained environments, using lightweight equipment and rapid setup.
For Women’s Wear Daily, I conducted an interview with Tilda Swinton at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the promotion for Jim Jarmusch’s film. A demanding context, press accreditation, tight timing, and a set location, which illustrates the ability to produce professional-grade recording under real conditions, without a safety net. For INSEAD and Télécom Paris, I produced series of interviews during ceremonies and academic events, in a more measured editorial register but with the same technical rigour.
The press interview video differs from the corporate interview in its production context: no studio, no controlled set, little preparation time. It is precisely in these conditions that experience makes the difference, anticipating acoustic constraints, mastering natural light, and reacting in the field. Files are delivered in formats suited to your publishing channel, edited or as rushes depending on your needs.
