Video reportage on Fashion Week and the press in Paris
Paris-based video director, I have been covering Paris Fashion Week for the international press for several years. I work exclusively for Women’s Wear Daily USA, one of the fashion industry's leading publications, for which I produce editorial video reports: catwalk shows, press presentations, backstage, studio visits, designer interviews and event capsules.
My reports cover the most important houses and creators of the Parisian scene: Chanel at the Ateliers Lesage and the Palais Galliera, Jean-Paul Gaultier at the Folies Bergère stage, Thom Browne at the École des Beaux-Arts, Tommy x Zendaya during Paris Fashion Week, Alexa Chung, KidSuper at the Casino de Paris, Christian Cowan & Sam Smith at the American Cathedral. Not forgetting the Cannes Film Festival with the amfAR gala in the presence of Carine Roitfeld, and the interview with Karl Lagerfeld & Kaia Gerber at the press presentation.
These productions are shot under demanding conditions: press accreditations, tight timing, heritage locations or live show settings. Mastering these constrained environments—clean sound at a noisy fashion show, stable footage backstage, quick reactions during an impromptu interview—is at the heart of this work. The files are delivered in formats suitable for web publication and the newspaper's social media channels.
